Women – The Final Touch
God didn’t create men first and then women as an afterthought. Rather, women are an integral part of God’s plan for humanity. They are the finishing touch of creation – a reflection of God’s love and compassion. I like to think that they were created last intentionally. God gave Adam a chance to experience life without a mate, to see what “going at it alone” felt like, so that when His partner was introduced to Him, He could have a better appreciation for her presence and what she brought to his life.
The continuation of the universe rests inside women.
While the conception of life is a joint effort, the womb is a necessity that God chose to give to women. This was quite the finishing touch!
Adam by himself could not continue the world as God planned. Without Eve, He would have spent the rest of his life alone, without companionship, without children, and without a family. Even today, despite our advances in technology and the efforts to eliminate the male and female contribution to the continuation of the species, God’s design prevails.
Celebrating women
As we celebrate women around the world, let us not forget the widows, mothers that have lost children, and countless others that sacrifice so much to ensure their survival and the survival of others. To the women nurturing the next generation of believers, justice seekers, and freedom fighters, God is with you. To the women leading out in missionary services, whether online, via social media, in person, or through your lifestyle, God sees you, and He calls you blessed.
God has a special place in His heart for His precious daughters. He loves and values us and the heart we possess. It is His desire that we continue to partner with Him to carry out the final work that is still left to be done on this Earth. He created us last with a purpose; let us step boldly into this purpose free from the burdens and insecurities that the enemy would otherwise have us claim as our identity.
